My Story
John’s background and experience offers his clients exceptional advantages when it comes to real estate mortgage financing. In 2001 John began his career in the mortgage lending industry as a Wholesale Mortgage Account Executive. Working with brokerages, home builders, and correspondent lending institution’s he provided loans for all types of borrowers. In addition to mortgage lending, John became licensed as a Real Estate Broker Associate in 2010. Later, John would take over the brokerage and to this day is still the broker/owner of The Colorado Real Estate Ltd. To further advance his skills & experience John had a rare opportunity in 2017 to help build a residential home builder’s mortgage lending group from the ground up focusing on Secondary Marketing, Business Development, and Investor relations.

John and his wife, Malissa have lived in Castle Rock, Colorado since 2008 and are raising their two young boys, Myles & Bodey as well as their Bernese Mtn. dog, Oliver. John and his family are involved in the community & enjoy traveling, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. You can also find John either on a local golf course or mountain biking on the many trails Colorado has to offer.
In addition to helping all borrowers, John is an Air Force Veteran who prides himself in helping other veterans with their real estate needs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership/Small Business Entrepreneurship from Colorado State University and is a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer and Real Estate Broker.
